The influence of the fatigue crack path on the fatigue life distribution wasstudied. The fatigue data of some aluminum alloys were analyzed from a statisticalviewpoint taking into account the discontinuity region of the fatigue curves. The Weibulldistribution and the log-normal distribution were applied. Relationship between thefracture probability and the changing the crack path was shown.
