Case of a path of the upper face Fig. 18 shows the evolution of equivalent plastic strain along a path on the upper surface for different values of the depth of the groove. It can be noted that the highest level of plastic strain is obtained with a depth H = 5 mm, whereas the lowest level of plastic strain is obtained by the depth of 8 mm.
