The maximum values of the ballast resistance, corresponding to a single sleeper, together with the limit values which correspond to the sliding of the sleeper on the ballast due to pseudo plastic failure of this latter, are reported in Tab. 3. The interpretation and the use of these results will be widely discussed in other papers, once the test campaign is completed.
