A general functional form of temporal strength conditions under variableloading is employed to formulate several new accumulation rules. Unlikethe well known Robinson rule of linear accumulation of partial life-times,the new rules are sensible to the load order. Comparison with someexperiments show that they much better ¯t experimental results.
