“Italian Group of Fracture (IGF)” is a cultural association concerned in :
1) spreading and promoting works and reserches about  fracture phoenomena, even forming workgroups;
2) promoting all the activities concerning  the devolepment of materials and structure testing standards;  
3) cohoperating with foreign associations with the same intents  (International Congress on Fracture, ICF; European Group of Fracture, EGF; etc.)
4) organizing meetings  (at least, every 2 years), workshops, conferences, debates and courses about fracture phoenomena and publishing meetings proceedings, news, journal etc.
5) developing all the activities that agree with association intents
